"We trained subway staff about emergency treatment every year," said Liu Hongmei, deputy director of Beijing Emergency Medical Center. For example, all staff on subway line 4 participate in the training when it opens.

A subway employee also said that the subway company gives emergency training to its staff from time to time and examines their performance with the Beijing Red Cross. Every station and every team has an employee who holds an emergency training certificate.

50 service stations with AED will be built

The good news is that 50 service stations with AED will be built in Beijing this year.
