A truck carried about 7.2 tons of ice cubes for Lushan College students at the Guangxi University of Science and Technology in Liuzhou, Guangzi's capital city, on Wednesday evening, Chinanews.com reported.
The college came up with the idea as students struggled in the high temperatures.
Some internet users considered the college's idea "cool" in the hot weather, but others questioned why the college could not simply install air conditioners.
