On a recent cold night in Guiyang, Guizhou province, a food delivery worker surnamed Chen found a lost little girl sitting and crying at the roadside. Seeing this as an emergency, he stopped his delivery to help.
Chen said the child was in the slow lane with cars passing by, which made the situation extremely dangerous. He called the police and stayed with her until help arrived.
About 10 minutes later, the girl's parents reached the scene. After officers confirmed their identities, the child was returned safely to her family.
