"China has done an amazing job in implementing the last five-year plan, especially in reaching self-sufficiency in a lot of critical areas, including the digital world, new energy and technological infrastructure," Somali Ambassador to China Hodan Osman Abdi said in a recent interview with China Daily.

She noted that the Somalia's development priorities will closely align with the goals of China's 15th Five-Year Plan, especially in green energy, sustainability and climate protection, which she described as highly inspiring.

The ambassador also praised China's commitment to international cooperation, emphasizing that its development benefits not only China but is shared with Global South countries, including Somalia.
