Officials, media experts, and platform representatives gathered in Changsha, Hunan province, on Thursday to discuss building an effective international communication ecosystem in the New Era.

The forum, themed "Media Bridges Across Mountains and Seas," was one of seven parallel sessions at the 2025 China New Media Conference, held from Tuesday to Thursday in Changsha. Organizers said it aimed to foster industry consensus and promote cultural innovation by combining China's heritage with advances in information technology.
