The world is facing profound and complex changes and both countries should enhance their exchanges and coordination in multilateral mechanisms, as two responsible nations with independent diplomatic traditions, Premier Li said. The two countries should support rules-based multilateralism and the multilateral trading system while tackling global issues such as climate change, the Premier said.

Both countries should create a fair, even-handed, transparent, convenient and non-discriminatory business environment for investors from both sides, the Premier said.

Ardern said Chinese companies are welcome to invest in New Zealand, and her country will offer a good business environment with no discrimination against any companies from any country. The country also is willing to work with China in reforming the multilateral trading system, promoting cooperation on climate change and other fields, and safeguarding international rules and the rules-based multilateral trading system, she said.
