EU Foreign Affairs Council (Development) meeting to kick off
European Union development ministers will attend the EU Foreign Affairs Council (Development) meeting in Brussels on Nov 27.
They will exchange views on ongoing work on the Africa-Europe alliance for sustainable investment and jobs.
The council will review the state of play of the multiannual financial framework negotiations on the region, development and international cooperation instruments.
Over lunch, development ministers will discuss gender and human rights issues together with Nobel Peace Prize laureates Nadia Murad and Denis Mukwege. They are expected to focus on fighting all forms of discrimination.
