"I was walking on the street. A man walked by with a bicycle carrying his daughter. The girl waved to me and said 'Hello'. I was surprised, because nobody spoke English to us all the way in China. The man said he was a Russian teacher. As the relationship between China and the US got better, he started to teach English. He wanted to practice with me. I was invited to his home for dinner and I took the photo afterward. We communicated with simple English and the help of a dictionary."
