2 Hulu afternoon tea

It has been several weeks since the much-typed casual dining concept Hulu by TRB Hospitality unveiled its the first venue in the Sanlitun area of Beijing. Now it seems to be living up to the hype with comfort food at good prices and with food service. Hulu's relaxed, informal dining vibe with casual fare such as eggs benedict, bite-sized desserts and even burgers is quite different to its elegant sister venues, TRB Hutong and TRB Forbidden City. But Hulu's casual fare compromises in neither aesthetics nor taste. It now has a weekday afternoon tea promotion: one signature souffle and any coffee, costing 58 yuan. An even better-value option is one offered every afternoon including weekends, between 2-4 pm: an afternoon tea set, costing 168 yuan for two with sweet pickme-up nibbles prepared fresh every morning.
