Twelve Asian photographers visited southwest China's Guizhou province from June 4 to 7, which is the first chapter of the trip themed "China in the eyes of the Asia media".

Arvind Yadav, chief photographer at the Hindustan Times, said the transportation networks of the province impressed him the most, besides the picturesque scenery and the richness of folk culture.

"People even climb to the top of the train during the high transportation season in some areas, but I saw no traffic jams neither in the downtown or countryside of Guizhou." Yadav said.

When Remar Alvaran Zamora, a photographer from the Philippine Daily Inquirer, saw the Langde village, southwest China's Guizhou province, he was surprised by wooden architecture and stone roads.

"People here have found a way to live perfectly harmonious with nature." said Zamora.
