0BERLIN - The German economy shrugged off the impact of eurozone debt crisis and grew by 3 percent in 2011, compared with a 3.7-percent growth in 2010, official figures showed Wednesday.
According to the national statistics office Destatis, Germany also lowered its public deficit to 1.0 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2011.
