Footage showed that the looters were loading their cars and trucks with supplies that would be disbursed to one of the hardest hit region in the West Sumatra province by 7.6 Richter scale-earthquake on Wednesday.

They looted boxes of instant noodle, mineral water and food supplement on Saturday night.

They claimed that they were not patient to get the aid because rules require them to bring an information letter from chief of village or sub district.

Padang Pariaman regency along with Padang town and Pariaman regency are the hardest hits by the earthquake. Report said that the aid was centered in Padang as the provincial capital city of West Sumatra, making people outside the area feel that they are neglected by the central and local governments.
