ISLAMABAD -- Suspected militants on Saturday blew up three polling stations in Pakistan's tribal region, local TV channel Geo reported.

Three polling stations were destroyed in Khar, the center of Bajur tribal agency, said the report.

There is no claim of responsibility of the attack on polling stations.

Elections were postponed in the restive South Waziristan tribal agency due to security concerns.

The Secretary of Election Commission Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad said all arrangements had been finalized to hold polls in transparent and peaceful manner.

He said there were around 12,000 sensitive polling stations across the country where the security would be tight.

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf said a "shoot-at-sight" order had been issued for those who would resort to killings and violence on election days.

The parliamentary elections will be held on February 18 and campaign will end Saturday night, 48 hours before the polling was to be started.
