Attractive colors, original shapes ... Everything is done to attract the consumer's eye. The package, whose primary function is to protect a product, has become a selling point. Result: the "packaging" is becoming more and more expensive. It can represent up to 60 percent of the total price of a product. Aware of this explosion, the government since 2004 oblige companies to reduce the weight of packaging they place on the market but they have become icons of our brands ... Besides this sector represents 20 billion euros in sales business in France and 100 000 employees ... It is in the same rank as aeronautics.
