Dating fair attracts senior citizens

They say it is never too late to find love. A dating fair exclusively for senior citizens was held at Zhongshan Park in Jinan, East China's Shandong province on Thursday.

The fair attracted over 500 older people, with the oldest male participant aged 86 and female participant aged 73.

Each participant put up personal information, including age, height, monthly income and contacts, on a poster that was hung on a string between trees at the park.

Shang, an 81-year-old participant, attended the fair with the support of his children. "I want to find someone I can talk to and spend the rest of my life with, so that I can rediscover happiness in life," Shang said.
