Graduate asks for 2 million yuan to buy house for parents online

A girl who graduated from Sichuan Normal University, wants to borrow 2,000,000 yuan ($322,200) to buy a house and insurance for her parents by asking for the funds online, Western China Metropolis Daily reported.

Fan Shibei, 21, promised to pay the debt in 15 years and to spend the rest of her life with the creditor.

The offer raised controversy on the Internet. "You are the best! Take your chance!" commented a supporter.

However, she also received all kinds of unsolicited advice and criticism. "I admire your honesty and bravery" said a mild commenter, "but I think happiness is not related with money."

"You are a disgrace," scolded another netizen. "Do not try to cover your ambition with your parents!"

Despite netizens' reactions, Fan is determined to carry out her plan.
