A man who refused to take care of his elderly parents was detained for 15 days, Yangcheng Evening News reported on Friday. The man, surnamed Zhang, is a resident of Dapu county. His relationship with his parents turned sour in early 2008. Zhang then refused to offer them financial support and refused to take care of them despite their failing health.
