Another Vanke project, in partnership with Minmetals, is called Ruyuan. It uses a concealed installation system, also known as an in-wall carrier. The Ruyuan bathroom framework includes an integral water tank located behind the wall, giving a clean and modern finish with no visible pipe work.

This bathroom technology is widely used in high-end properties because it can be used in the tightest of spaces including corners, offering the designer more freedom to create the bathroom that their clients desire.

Throughout bathroom product development, the focus has been on keeping technology in the background - a trend that continues as hotel bathrooms combine technological complexity with minimalist designs.
