Motuo county in Tibet has recently experienced a spike in tourism after its highway connection was established. Over 10,000 tourists visited the county in the first quarter of this year, marking a 181 percent increase compared with the same time last year. Given that Motuo has an incomparable natural environment, the local government has made eco-tourism its new focus, hoping that Motuo's environment edge can be translated into a good tourism brand.[Photo/Xinhua] |
