China Daily Website has an inclusive interview with Mohamed Faisal, ambassador of Maldives to China, who says the Belt and Road Initiative opens up further cultural exchanges between China and Maldives.

The following are transcripts from the interview.
With the One Belt One Road, it's opening up avenues for more Maldives to come closer to China in terms of cultural exchange.
That means we can promote our culture in China and also go specifically to different cities of China and promote our culture in different cities of China.
As you know, China is a vast country and there is a potential for us to reach out to the Chinese people through this initiative.
So beyond the economic benefits, Maldives are looking forward to the cultural and other intangible benefits from the One Belt One Road initiative.
