Administrative changes make things simpler in E-town
E-town implemented the suggestions on promoting the development of the park issued by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the People's Republic of China (SAIC) on February 15.
The new policies in the suggestions aim to deepen business system reform and encourage mass innovation and entrepreneurship.
Two restrictions will be relaxed according to the new policies. The manner of writing names for registration is wider, allowing English letters and numbers. Secondly, for accommodation registration, a company’s location and its operation spot will be separately managed. If a company has a branch which is located elsewhere, it does not need to apply for a business license for the branch separately. The distribution sites of e-commerce companies do not need separate licenses either.
The suggestions also made changes to the scope of the business registration system and enterprise group registration methods. Some companies do not need to register certain detailed business details, and companies in a business group do not need separate registration.
The Administration for Industry and Commerce will promote online services this year, and realize paperless registration procedures.
Online distant inquiry services will also be available, so that applicants will be able to check their registration materials on the Internet very conveniently.
