ABB China Research Institute marks 10-year anniversary

ABB China Research Institute celebrated its 10-year anniversary recently together with experts and scientists from prestigious research institutes and colleges in China.
ABB is a global leader in electricity and automatics. It established the research institute in China a decade ago, with laboratories both in Beijing and Shanghai. It has nearly 200 international patents, and has become a bellwether in machinery, controlling system, materials and power electrics.
ABB China Research Institute has more than 2,000 researchers dedicated to technology innovation. It has made a series of major results: the fastest and most precise six-axis robot, the first dual-arm robot capable to coordinate with people, all showcasing the strong research capacity of ABB China Researh Institute.
The institute has won many international honors for its efforts in innovation.
