Located in Tianjin’s Jinghai County, the Samaranch Memorial is the only museum approved by Samaranch Family and International Olympic Committee (IOC) together.Tianjin was the cradle to China’s modern sports and Olympics. It was a co-host city of the Beijing Olympic Games. That’s one important reason the Memorial has its site in Tianjin.
