India Culture Week starts at Xi'an expo

The opening ceremony of India Culture Week was held on Dielianhua Stage at Xi'an expo on Aug 15, Southwest China's Shaanxi province.
Rajni Abbi, Rajesh Kumar, Mayor couple of New Delhi, Mr. Roger, director of India Culture Week organized team attended the ceremony, together with the leadership of Xi'an expo and Xi'an city.
Bollywood of India presented a wonderful 30-minute show for tourists. All together, 50 sets of clothes and more than 300 Indian jewelry sets were shown during the performance to display the colorful Indian culture.
It was the first time that Bollywood performed in Xi'an. The dance was choreographed by Gita Kapoor, a famous director of Dance-India-Dance.
Traditional Indian yoga was also shown. Two Indian yoga masters demonstrated a performance with the meaning of "Health, better life."
Performances of India Culture Week will be held until Aug 20. Three shows will be held everyday. The show times are 11:00-12:00, 16:00-17:00, and 18:00-19:00.
