While the naysayers have been quick to shout "doom & gloom prophesies", it should be noted that they have been spouting similar notions for nearly two decades - and each time, they have been proven wrong. The Chinese have already stated that they've been re-balancing their economy for slower growth. Considering the current condition of the global economic picture, slower growth is to be expected.
