Be wary of biased news

People have to be extra careful about Tibet-related news the Western media is spreading these days because most of it is biased, says Lan Hong-tsung in the Hong Kong Commercial Daily. The following is an excerpt:
The public must also remember the fact that Tibet has been an inalienable part of China since the 13th century.
Although the Dalai Lama has called on his followers not to disrupt the Olympic Games, damage has already been done and his belated statements only serve to show his pretentiousness.
In the foreseeable future the Tibetan separatists will no doubt continue their criminal acts. The central government needs to be prepared for long battles against them.
