Jiang welcomes delegation of Texas A&M University
(BOCOG)

Jiang Xiaoyu, executive vice-president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BCOCOG) met with visiting delegation of Texas A&M University led by vice president Emily Ashworth on Wednesday.
The two sides exchanged views on the matters related to the joint promotion of the Beijing Olympic Games during the third symposium on Sino-US relations. The symposium was launched by former US President George Herbert Walker Bush with an aim to increase mutual understanding and promote bilateral relations between the two countries.
The two previous symposiums were held in Texas and Beijing in 2003 and 2005 respectively.
