World Wildlife Fund visits BOCOG

Director-General of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) James P. Leape visited the headquarters of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) on Monday, where he was updated on the concepts and the preparatory work for the Olympics, including the "Green Olympics" campaign.
Yu Xiaoxuan, deputy director of BOCOG Construction and Environment Department briefed the guest on the progress being made in environmental protection for the Games and expressed the hopes that WWF will put forward more suggestions and support for BOCOG's work in the area.
Leape informed Yu of WWF's activities and extended willingness to cooperate with BOCOG for environmental protection.
WWF is known as one of the world's largest conservation organizations
