A delegation from Taiwan’s Foxconn Technology Group visited the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone in Yunnan province on April 23 to study the investment environment.

Zhou Youliang, vice director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Yunnan province, and Zhao Xiaoping, vice director of the Zone, met with the delegation.

During the meeting, Zhao outlined the Zone’s advantages as an ideal investment destination, including rich natural resources, beautiful environment, easy access to Southeast Asia, preferential policies that the Zone offers to enterprises, superior service quality and great development potential.

Zheng Guangjie, vice president of Foxconn, expressed interest in cooperation with the Zone. He said they would decide on cooperation opportunities after further exploration of the Zone.
