The first Taiwan-Yunnan Brand Expo opened in Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center from Aug 21 to 24. More than 20,000 goods from 440 Taiwan enterprises were exhibited during the exposition.

The products from Taiwan covered green technology, electronic information, agriculture, bio-pharmaceuticals and beauty therapy. Visitors could get close to the technology innovation, folk customs and local foods of Taiwan.

Apart from the commercial goods from Taiwan, the exposition also had a Yunnan featured goods display area which included foods, jewelry, flowers and art.

During the exposition, there were altogether four pavilions: Taiwan Boutique Gallery, Intelligent Life Hall, Beauty Hall and Quality Precision Instrument Hall. The high-end technologies and fashion smart products from Taiwan were demonstrated.

The exposition committee and the Taiwan trade center put the focus on industrial cooperation between Yunnan and Taiwan. A series of economic and trade activities to promote the trade exchange between Taiwan and Yunnan were held.
