Wudang Geological Museum

Wudang Geological Museum involves a total investment of 18.45 million yuan ($2.95 million) and covers a total area of 4,832 square meters. There are more than 1,000 square meters of exhibition halls.

The museum was dressed in red and white, perfectly blending in with the surrounding environment and showing Wudang’s landscape to great effect.

The white represents Wudang kung fu and was an inspiration from the white crane, while the red is an inspiration from Wudang’s ancient architecture. The colors of the museum complement the green mountains and the blue sky, forming a painting featuring Wudang characteristics.

The museum is divided into three exhibition halls (dinosaur world, rising Wudang, Earth’s mystery) and a 4D geological cinema. It offers a visual and audio feast featuring Wudang’s unique landscape through high-tech interactive media and traditional display.
