Heavy snow at Wudang Mountains tourist attraction in Shiyan city, Hubei province, on Feb 17 and 18, turned the scenic spot into a sort of winter wonderland.

About 30 cm of snow fell at the site during the two days, with some areas receiving 40 cm, wudangshan.gov.cn reported.

The local authorities quickly cleaned up the snow on the roads of all scenic spots, so as to ensure the safety of visitors.

Wudang Mountains looked like a traditional Chinese ink painting, with its ancient palaces, pavilions and terraces, as well as pine trees.
