The Supreme People’s Court (SPC) held the closing ceremony for this year’s training session attended by Laotian judges on Sep 16.

During the ceremony, Hu Yunteng, SPC’s Grand Justice of the second rank, delivered a speech and granted participants of the session certificates of completion.

Hu pointed out that this year’s session was a new starting point for cooperation between the two countries on judicial training.

Through various activities such as in-class communications and on-site learning, participants learnt about China’s judicial system, legal culture and judicial reforms. During this process, judges from the two countries boosted their mutual understanding and friendship.

Hu said he hopes that the judicial societies of the two countries will make the best use of such platforms to provide better legal services and support for their mutual prosperity and development under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
