Shanxi Rehabilitation Research Center has invited 240 children with disabilities across Shanxi province for free rehabilitation training and physical corrective surgery starting Feb 22.
The patients are children aged 0 to 6 years old in Shanxi with visual, hearing (speech), limb, and intellectual disabilities.
Patients aged 0 to 14 years old with limb disabilities such as talipes, tendon contracture as well as joint deformity and dislocation will receive limb corrective surgery, followed by rehabilitation training lasting at least one month.
Meanwhile, the center will also provide free rehabilitation treatment and training for 100 adults with limb disabilities in the province and give priority rehabilitation services to those in financial difficulties.
A special consultation hotline – 0351-2148801 – has also been opened by Shanxi Rehabilitation Research Center to facilitate those with rehabilitation needs in Shanxi.
