Shanxi province will transfer 1 billion kWh of electricity to Tianjin each year between 2018 and 2020, according to a recent framework agreement signed between the two regions.
By September, Shanxi province has completed the transfer of 500 million kWh of electricity to Tianjin.
The cooperation will help Shanxi further expand the power market and scale the power supply in China.
