Xiaowutai Wind Farm in Youyu county, Shanxi province, has 33 wind turbines with installed capacity of 41.25 mW and one 110 kW substation, generating 69.50 million kWh per year. The wind farm can save 24,700 tons of coal and lower particulate emissions by 2,400 tons, carbon dioxide by 12,400 tons and sulfur dioxide by 420 tons, helping improve local air quality.
