With a focus on developing multimodal transportation, the second Shanxi Zhongding Logistics Forum was held in Taiyuan on Nov 7.
Hosted by Shanxi Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology, and Taiyuan Railway Bureau, the forum invited more than 50 experts in the logistics sector to put forward suggestions on issues such as resource sharing in the logistics industry and on the development plan for Zhongding Logistics Park.
Zhongding Logistics Park, covering 266.67 hectares in Taiyuan, is China's first logistics park with a multimodal transportation system, which uses rail as its main method of transportation. It has so far launched 12 multimodal transportation services.
