Shanxi companies made deals worth 74.18 million yuan ($11.16 million) at the 14th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair which was held from Oct 10 to 23 in Guangzhou.
At the fair, 12 out of 46 Shanxi businesses which brought 168 different types of products to display at the fair, signed partnership agreements with 18 companies and businesspeople from Mexico, Italy, South Africa, Shenzhen and Beijing.
In addition, Shanxi exhibitors also took part in the “Maker in China” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, with five entrepreneurship programs entering the top 100 of the final.
Launched in 2004, the annual China International SME Fair aims to build a platform for SMEs from both home and abroad to further communication and partnerships between domestic and overseas SMEs, and facilitate development of SMEs in China.
