The 15th Pingyao International Photography Festival will be opening in the?Ancient City of Pingyao, Shanxi province, on Sept 19 and running through the 25th, with this year’s highlight being 15 key words chosen by the organizing committee to represent contemporary photographic concepts and development.
The?organizing committee?will ask curators of photographic collections from around the world, theorists and critics to organize photography exhibitions based on the 15 key words.
There are more than 2,000 photographers from all over expected to take part in this year’s festival. And there will be more than 200 exhibitions and related events taking place in the old city at the same time.
Grounded in diversified cultures, 60 international exhibitions will present to audience by 18 curators, with works from over 300 photographers and 25 photography organizations from 36 countries and regions.
