Jiading to get a new auto trade center

The Shanghai Wangjin International Automobile City, a place for auto trade and exhibition located in Jiangqiao town of Shanghai's Jiading district is expected to go operational on Jan 16, 2016, local media reported on Dec 20.

The new automobile city has a five-story building for car exhibition and transaction, covering a total floor area of 36,000 square meters, which can house about 2,000 cars at most. On each floor, customers can see different cars including famous brands such as Porsche, Rolls-Royce and Lamborghini as well as second-hand ones.

The automobile city also has an outside exhibition area with 12,000 square meters, a commercial area with 10,000 square meters, a parking lot with about 20 mu (1.3 hectare) and an office area with 1,060 square meters.

According to one of its managers, the city aims to be a first-class platform for auto trade, commercial business, leisure and entertainment. It will attract many top auto dealers and provide one-stop services to customers, making it easier for the residents to get the cars they want.
