Weifang Art Gallery, established in 1973, is a nonprofit cultural institution under local government. It is mainly for the organization of public cultural and festival activities, training of cultural professionals, theoretical study, excavation and collection of local intangible cultural heritages.

What’s more, it is also engaged in the artistic creation and training in music, dance, fine arts, calligraphy, ballad, drama, photography, literature, preservation of intangible cultural heritages and cultivating artists.

Since the establishment, it has developed lots of outstanding artists in some fields, with many artworks winning national and provincial awards. The gallery was honored as the advanced gallery in intangible cultural heritages preservation by Shandong provincial cultural department and Weifang municipal government.
