Qingdao Overseas Investment Service Center invited a group of representatives from local foreign-owned enterprises to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival on June 8, with participants attending from America, Russia, Canada and Japan.

During the celebrations, the foreign guests watched a short video introducing festival customs and afterwards were taught how to make zongzi, a traditional food of the festival.

Zongzi is a kind of sticky rice dumpling wrapped in bamboo leaves, which Chinese people eat during the festival.

The group enjoyed the hands-on experience and learned more about traditional Chinese culture.

The event was held to enhance the exchanges between foreign enterprises and local business. In future, the Qingdao Overseas Investment Service Center will organize more activities for people who invest in Qingdao.
