On Dec 24, the signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation agreement between Haier Group and PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University was held at Haier University.

Zhang Ruimin, chairman and CEO of Haier Group and director- general of Qingdao Makers Union, attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech. He said in his speech that Haier intends to cooperate with PBC School of Finance to pilot the development of financial industry at the Internet Age.

After the signing ceremony, Haier launched Qingdao OTC Market Settlement Center together with Luxin Group and Guoxin Group.

In the process of Haier’s transition, finance sector has become the 3rd pillar industry of the home appliances maker.
