Nantong Textile Museum is the first professional textile museum in China, which is renowned as China's "Grand View Garden of textile".
The museum has two specialized exhibitions, namely, the best of China’s textile and the textile history of Nantong. Besides, it also has some outdoor exhibitions, such as “The farmland”, “The ancient streets of Tongzhou”, and “The factory academy”.
Tourists can see ancient Chinese weaving machines and the earliest foreign weaving machines in China. They can also take part in the practice of traditional weaving.
