The 5th China Wuxi International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), with a theme of "Bring Art Home", kicked off in Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center on Oct 15.

Wang Quan, mayor of Wuxi, with several city officials attended the inauguration ceremony. This year's fair, which lasts from Oct 15 to 19, mainly focuses on cultural innovation and integration. It is committed to promoting cultural consumption and driving the development of cultural industries.

The fair covers an area of 470,000 square meters and shows off various traditional handicrafts, cultural products and creative designs, all of which are popular with visitors.

The Cultural Industries Fair has been held in Wuxi for five consecutive years. The previous four events attracted more than 433,000 participants with total sales revenue reaching 448 million yuan ($70.6 million).
