Baotou Jiuyuan Industrial Park

Baotou Jiuyuan Industrial Park is?located in the city’s Jiuyuan district. It was founded in April, 2006, with a planning area of 77.86 square kilometers.

The park has advantages in abundant mineral, water, electricity and land resources. What’s more, it is convenient in transportation, connecting Nanraocheng Highway and Baotou-Lanzhou Railway, providing speedy and convenient logistics services.

At present, the leading industry project in the park is Shenhua coalification project, which attracted a total investment of 16.6 billion yuan ($2.67 billion) and started construction in May, 2007. The project will largely promote development of coalification industrial clusters and other industries.
