Model workers to promote the spirit of the craftsman

Known as the “steel city on the grassland”, Baotou has been leading the way in industrial development in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Model workers and businesses in the city have been awarded recently with the honor of promoting the spirit of craftsman, which includes determination, patience and the desire for perfection.
Recently an equipment maintenance group from Baotou Santoku Battery Materials Co was given the title of national pioneer model workers. Military products produced by Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group are on display at an exhinition. Based in Baotou, the largest industrial city of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the State-owned company is the largest machinery manufacturer in the autonomous region. The company won the municipal-level labor award and is one of the 26 companies in Baotou recognized as “century-old businesses”, an honor designed to encourage the spirit of craftsman in the city. High-speed train debuts in Inner Mongolia
A bullet train departed Hohhot East Railway Station for Ulanqab marking the start of high-speed rail services using Inner Mongolia’s first newly-laid high-speed railway on Aug 3.
