Inner Mongolia's first special home appliance train arrives in Hohhot

Inner Mongolia's first special home appliance train from Hefei, Anhui province to Hohhot arrived at Shaliang station in Hohhot railway station on May 14. The train, consisting of 30 carriages carrying 2,248 home appliances, covered the distance in 40 hours. By reducing transportation costs the train allowed people in Inner Mongolia to buy home appliances more cheaply.

High-speed train debuts in Inner Mongolia
A bullet train departed Hohhot East Railway Station for Ulanqab marking the start of high-speed rail services using Inner Mongolia’s first newly-laid high-speed railway on Aug 3.
