CGGC is capable of installing turbo-generator units, electrical and auxiliary equipment of four 1,000MW hydropower projects simultaneously and its business covers various types of turbines such as Francis, axial-flow, pumped storage, tubular, and Pelton.
In the Three Gorges Project, CGGC created a world record of installing and putting into operation four large units (700MW each) within one year; in recent years, CGGC has installed over 50% of China’s total hydropower capacity, and is the established leader in hydropower unit installation in China and even the world.

CGGC was the general contractor of FAN Hydropower Station in the form of EPC and undertook all the installation work of its electromechanical equipment and sub-systems.
