Design and Installation of 1000MW-class Pressurized Water Reactor Units at Sanmen Nuclear Power Station (China)

The Sanmen Nuclear Power Station installed six 1000MW-class nuclear power units (AP1000). After construction is completed, its total installed capacity will exceed 12000MW, more than that of the Three Gorges Hydropower Station. In the first phase of construction, two most advanced 1250MW pressurized water reactor units will be installed.
